1. Information We Collect

Account Data: Email address, display name, and username when you create an account.

Journal Data: Trade entries you log, including symbols, prices, P&L, and notes. This data is encrypted at rest.

Usage Data: Anonymous analytics such as screens visited, features used, and session duration to improve the app experience.

Device Tokens: Push notification tokens to send you trade alerts and morning briefs. You can disable notifications at any time.

2. How We Use Your Information

Deliver trade alerts, AI coaching, and weekly insights personalized to your trading activity.
Analyze your behavior patterns (FOMO, revenge trading, etc.) to provide educational feedback.
Improve and optimize Algorit’s features and performance.
Communicate product updates and optional marketing (you can opt out anytime).

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

Supabase: Database and authentication provider (hosted in US East).
OpenAI: Processes AI coach conversations. No journal data is sent to OpenAI — only your chat messages.
Expo: Push notification delivery service.
RevenueCat: Subscription management (when premium features are available).

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at privacy@algorit.app. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

5. Security

All data is transmitted over TLS encryption. Database data is encrypted at rest. We use Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure users can only access their own data. Authentication tokens are stored in device secure storage.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can manage notification preferences in the app settings. For any privacy inquiries, contact privacy@algorit.app.

Algorit provides educational pattern-based trade alerts, not financial advice. We are not a registered investment advisor. Past performance of trade alerts does not guarantee future results. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions.

8. Changes

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email.
